Caesar Fallschirmjäger

Just a quick update on some completed Caesar Fallshim, Falshurm, paratroopers.  The MG42 gunner is suffering from the common Caesar problem of 'droopy gun'(although in this case, 'overly perky' might be more apt), but otherwise I'm pretty pleased with the result.

Not quite one of each model in the set complete yet, I've yet to do the ones holding FG42s.

Some more Caesar models on the table at the moment, from their panzergrenadiers set1

    1. Thanks. Camo could be a little bit harder edged, think I've improved on it a bit with the panzergrenadiers I've just done, using a smaler brush.

  2. Very nice. I have a few of them to finish myself...if I ever get round to them!

  3. Hi Alan. Quick question. What do you use/where do you get your bases for the prone miniatures? I have been looking for the bases with curved ends for some time. Thanks, Rob.

  4. They're just cut from mounting board using two pennies laid side by side for the size and curve as a template. So prone figures are two pennies long and one wide, and mortars, mgs etc two by two. Makes storage simpler if they're all the same proportions!
